Kids are on holiday today as it is Ganesh's birthday.
As part of the celebrations people gather to celebrate and one of the activities is a money grab. Basically local businesses, local leaders and anyone who want publicity donate cash, the cash is placed in a bag and suspended 30-40 feet off the ground and groups of people have to form a human piramid to grab the suspended bag of cash. Can't wait to see this - sounds like carnage!
Stopped in traffic and a hawker burning some sort of incence, comes over to our car and Aftab pays a few Rs for him to waft the smoke into our car. Car full of smoke the lights change and we drive off fighting to see through the fug inside the car! Odd smell and my heart is now racing and I feel light headed - assured by Aftab that Loban is just a smell with no other effects!
