27/09/19 Surreal day - Trainning, Dancing, Sadness and winning

After a decent but hot nights sleep, it was up at 6.30am ready for breakfast curry followed by a full day of training.

Heavy Monsoon rain after lunch helped cool things down a bit, maybe slightly too much!

News from home that a friends dear mother had died was sinking in, I felt a great sadness as Kathy was a beautiful soul, she looked after me well when I visited making me feel like one of the family. Further sadness that I wouldn't be able to attend Kathy's funeral as I am away. I will be there in spirit ♥️

A meal out with the Volunteer Managers at a Nepalese restaurant was a great, one pf the VM Medics bought her Fiddle and we had a little Kaley in the resturant! The evening was topped off with Nepalese dance to the tune of a Scottish reel....funny and slightly surreal!

Oh, and the winning....I entered a competition to win a 1970 VW Beetle a while back and woke to the news that I'd won 😁
