15th January 2011 - Haircut

Up until now I've had my hair cut by Susie using a set of electric clippers. Today I thought I'd use one of the many barbers I see around the place. These range from the most basic - barber had a brick for his clients to sit on a pair of sissors and a comb to the full on salons found at the 5 star hotels. Even I'm not quite brave enough to sit on a brick yet so opted for a barber who at least had a shop with a door. Proper sissor cut, new blade on the cut throat razor, cape with fresh neck cover all topped off with a brief head massage. Price? Rs50 (75p) plus a Rs5 pack of sweets to keep Darcy quiet. Oh and the haircut? Very good with no need for Susie to cut it all off so I could start again! Result.
